Nothing Says Love Like A Sucking Chest Wound

And nothing makes a web-going luser sit up in his-or-her chair and say, "Wow, cool!" more than bandwidth-sucking multimedia content. Hey, you're not satisfied with the little noise my homepage makes? Fine, here's stuff to kill that 28.8K connection for a long time. If you happen to be blessed with something faster, hey, it's your network utilization, I don't care!

At the moment, it does seem to be mainly clips from Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast. If you don't want to see that, then don't download anything. I may or may not ever be putting more stuff up here. Check back often if you really are looking for serious waste of network resources. (Of course, if you don't like Space Ghost, you should just leave this site right now.)

Also, all files are AVI's or WAV's. You'll need to have the INDEO v3.2 CODEC installed on your system for the AVI's. Most of 'em play fine on the several Windows and UNIX platforms I've tried them on (Windows 95, Windows NT, SGI IRIX, Linux, FreeBSD) but a couple of the videos have funky audio tracks that just go screeeeeeeeeee! Be warned.

This last video is a cool one by a local band that's managed by one of the guys I work with. They've won a couple of Bay Area Music Awards; they're worth checking out!
Movie Trailers
Toy Story 5.5MB Official Site Internet Movie Database Entry
Hey, what can I say about this movie. Probably my all-time favorite. John Lasseter is a storytelling genius. If you get the chance, pick up a copy of Tiny Toy Stories, also by Pixar. Those are the animated shorts that made them famous to begin with.
Mars Attacks! 7.7MB Official Site Internet Movie Database Entry
I liked this movie. It's silly, weird, and has lots of cool computer-generated Martians blowing the hell out of everything. A great tribute to B-Movies, and it's got Tom Jones. It's a cool trailer, too.
La Cite des Enfants Perdus

I haven't seen this movie yet, but it looks gorgeous. If you like movies by Terry Gilliam, I suspect this one will suit you as well; it looks to have a similar style.
Apple's "1984" Commercial 5.3MB Apple's Website
Ok, this isn't exactly a trailer, but it's a piece of computer history. This is the commercial that aired once, during the Superbowl, to herald the era of the Macintosh. Apple's had some hard times since then, but whatever else you can say about it, the Mac did bring about a new era in computing.

Download VMPEG v1.7 for a very nice MPEG-1 system player for Windows. (Plays MPEG Video and Audio and is Smokey Fast.)
